Nigerian Puff puff

Puff puff is a Nigerian snack made from wheat flour. It can be served as dessert at parties and it can also be eaten between meals.

It can be enjoyed hot or cold.

  1. Measure 2.5 cups of flour into a bowl

  2. Measure 2teaspoon of yeast, 3 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon salt into a separate bowl or plate

  3. Add the sugar, yeast and salt into the flour

  4. Add 1.5 cups of warm water into the flour

  5. Mix until you achieve smooth paste, it should not be too thick or running

  6. Leave for 45min-1hr to rise

  7. Heat oil with a deep pan on a medium heatand scoop the puff puff paste into the oil

  8. Scoop the puff puff paste into the oil and fry until it is golden brown
