Mini meat pies

Crunchy, sweet mini pies for all times.

  1. Mix the flour and butter untill crumby, Then add salt, nutmeg and milk. Mix and knead thoroughly. Then cover and set aside for about 30mins.

  2. Dice onions, potatoes and carrots

  3. Put oil on heat
  4. Add the minced meat

  5. Let the meat cook untill water begins to come out of it

  6. Add the chopped onions,Stir and let cook for 2mins

  8. Now add some water into the pot

  9. Add in your seasoning and black pepper. Then add the diced carrots. Let it cook for about 4 to 5mins.

  10. Next add the flour into the pot and stir to form a pasty looking fillings

  11. Let it cook for a minute, put off the heat and cut the dough into pieces for easier kneading
  12. Take a piece, knead untill smooth

  13. Now place it on a meat pie cutter and add the fillings

  14. Apply some egg to the edges to make it stick

  16. Repeat the above steps untill the dough is finished. Line them all in an already greased baking pan

  17. Preheat the oven and apply egg wash to the top of the pies to give them a shiny final look.

  18. Now place the tray in oven abd bake on a medium low heat for 15mins or untill golden brown.
