Mix the flour and butter untill crumby, Then add salt, nutmeg and milk. Mix and knead thoroughly. Then cover and set aside for about 30mins.
Dice onions, potatoes and carrots
Put oil on heat
Add the minced meat
Let the meat cook untill water begins to come out of it
Add the chopped onions,Stir and let cook for 2mins
Add the potatoes and stir
Now add some water into the pot
Add in your seasoning and black pepper. Then add the diced carrots. Let it cook for about 4 to 5mins.
Next add the flour into the pot and stir to form a pasty looking fillings
Let it cook for a minute, put off the heat and cut the dough into pieces for easier kneading
Take a piece, knead untill smooth
Now place it on a meat pie cutter and add the fillings
Apply some egg to the edges to make it stick
Fold and remove the meat pie
Repeat the above steps untill the dough is finished. Line them all in an already greased baking pan
Preheat the oven and apply egg wash to the top of the pies to give them a shiny final look.
Now place the tray in oven abd bake on a medium low heat for 15mins or untill golden brown.
Once done, take them out and let them cool. Meat pies are Ready!
