This crunchy staple can be had as breakfast, lunch, or just a snack. It’s very filling as it is a fibrous food.
It can be eaten alone or with some spicy onion sauce, vegetable sauce or egg sauce.
- Peel the potatoes cleanly and cut them into pieces.
- Wash the potatoes very clean and soak for 5 minutes in clean salty water.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan until it gets hot.
- Drain the potatoes from the water and fry them in the hot oil until they turn golden.
- Spoon the fried potatoes out of the hot oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with any sauce of your choice or eat alone.
