- Scotch bonnet pepper (ata rodo)
- 3 Tablespoon
- Palm oil

Beans porridge is a Nigerian delicacy from the south west. It is made by boiling beans. It can be eaten alone or with pap, garri, bread
- Measure beans and remove the dirt
- Put water in a clean pot and place on fire. Then wash the beans
- Add the beans to the water on fire and slice onions into it
- Boil the beans until it is soft (it could take like 45minutes or more) it depends on the type of beans. Add salt to taste
- While the beans is boiling, blend the scotch bonnet pepper and onions to a smooth paste. Then check if the beans is soft. Add the blended pepper into the boiling beans and stir
- Allow to cook for 3minutes. Then add 1 seasoning cube and palm oil. Allow to cook for 15minutes
- Serve the beans alone or with Bread, pap, garrri
