- Fresh corn
- 1 Cup
- Scotch bonnet pepper (ata rodo)

Beans and corn porridge is also known as Adalu. It is made with corn and beans. It is tasty and easy to make
- Boil fresh corn and remove the corn from the husk
- Place a clean pot on fire, add water and add the beans then add sliced onions
- Allow it to boil till it is soft and add salt then add the boiled fresh corn
- Allow it to cook for 10minutes. Blend the pepper and onions roughly. Add the blended pepper and seasoning cubes
- After 5minutes, add palm oil
- Allow to cook for sometime and serve
