Akara is made with peeled beans. It is easy to make. These recipes is made using beans flour. The beans are processed and ground into flour (powdered) for easy usage at home.

  1. Measure beans flour into a bowl then add water and stir together. Then add roughly blended pepper and onions
  2. Add egg and stir together to incorporate air then add seasoning cubes and salt to taste
  3. Place a Frying pan on fire(medium heat), add vegetable oil and allow it to heat till it hot.
  4. Scoop the beans batter in bits to the hot oil on fire, reduce the heat and allow both sides of the Akara to fry till golden brown
  5. Serve alone or with pap, garri, bread or solid pap
