Plantain porridge is a Nigerian delicacy loved by many ,it is made with ripe or unripe plantains ,fresh vegetables and oil base. It is served in buka (local eatery) and even restaurants.
- In a blender, blend some scotch bonnet, onions, garlic, a seed of nutmeg, and some water, blend smoothly.
- Wash your goat meat into a pot, pour in the pepper mix, add some seasoning, pepper soup spice, all purpose seasoning , cover to cook. Don't add extra water, the goat meat will release its own juice, cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.
- After 10 minutes, add the quantity of water enough to cook the plantain, add extra seasoning enough to cook the plantain.
- Add some vegetable oil, add some blended crayfish then introduce the plantain into the pot , mix everything to combine, then cover to cook for 15 minutes .
- Add your sliced scent leaf, cover to cook for 5 minutes.
- Your plantain porridge is ready. You can replace the vegetable oil with palm oil, all works. Serve and enjoy!
