PEPPER RICE

This is made with peppers (tatashe mostly) and a lot of atarodo. If you’re not a fan of very spicy food do not try this at home.

  1. First of all Cook your protein with some peppers, onions, seasoning and salt. cook the protein till it is soft and tender. Then use the meat stock to cook your rice. In a pan go in with some vegetable oil and chopped onions saute

  2. Then go in with your chopped tatashe , deseed the tatashe and chop it into tiny pieces. Stir fry for 2 minutes.

  3. Go in with some chopped green peppers and also blended tatashe

  4. Go in with some chopped carrots and stir fry for 3 minutes.

  5. Season with some salt and seasoning cube , do all this on medium heat so the vegetables do not become soggy.

  6. Introduce your cooked rice into the vegetables. Remember you cook the rice with the stock from your protein.

  7. Mix the peppers with the rice till everything is well combines, allow the rice to cook for 5 minutes as your stir fry.
