Nigerian pepper soup is a mouth watering recipe loved by almost every Nigerian. It could be eaten alone, or served as a side dish for rice or yam. Everyone has different ways of making theirs but this recipe is unique to me.
- Blend your habanero, scotch bonnet pepper, ginger, onion and garlic
- When it’s blended pour it Inside the pot that you have your proteins already
- Add seasoning and salt to taste
- Stir, cover and let it cook for about 5 minutes
- Rinse your uda and add it ( optional)
- Add crayfish to taste( optional)
- Wash and slice your scent leaves and set aside
- Add your pepper soup spice to the boiling proteins on fire
- Add water for more consistency ( if you feel there isn’t enough water)
- Add your scent leaf that you’ve sliced
- Leave to boil for like 2 minutes and yay 😁! It’s ready. Enjoy!
