Meat pie

This is a yummy snack with fillings like beef, carrot, Irish potatoes etc it’s a snack that is unresistable and loved by everyone

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together
  2. Add in the cold margarine and mix till you get a crumbly texture
  3. Then add in your egg and water and mix till a dough is formed. Chill for 15 minutes
  4. Put oil in a pan and add in the chopped onions and saute for 2 minutes
  5. Add in the meat stock and the carrot and potato and allow to cook till soft
  6. Add the seasoning salt, curry masala, seasoning cubes. The seasoning you will use depends on how rich your stock is
  7. Then add in the ground beef and cook till the color changes from pink to brown
  8. Mix your flour and water together to form a slurry and add it to the mixture on fire to thicken it
  9. Your filling is ready
  10. Preheat your oven to 180c
  11. Roll out your dough and cut into circles
  12. Put in the filling inside and cover. Repeat this process
  13. Put in a grease baking tray and bake till it's golden
