Jollof rice and beans

Jollof rice and beans is a very delicious meal, it can be topped up with salad and enjoy.

It is one of my favorites, so I decided to prepare it today.

You can use tomato like you’re making normal jollof rice or you can just go with only palm oil.

I’ll be cooking with palm oil.

  1. Perboil rice for 10 minutes and keep aside. Then wash and cook the beans for 15-20 minutes since beans takes longer time to cook.
  2. While the rice and beans are still perboiling, cut the onion, blend the pepper or pound in a morter with the crayfish and keep aside

  3. When the beans is half done, wash the perboiled rice and put inside the beans

  4. Pour in 2 cooking spoons of palm oil, add your onion, pepper, crayfish, seasoning cubes, and salt to taste. Stir the mixture and cover to cook for 10 -15 minutes till it's done and the water is dried up.

  5. Dish out and enjoy your meal.
