- Beef (without bone)

- Shredded ginger
- 50 Gram
- 1cup of diced coloured bell peppers
- 25 Gram
- 1/2 cup of diced carrots
- 20 Gram
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 10 Gram
- Scotch bonnet (ata rodo)
- 50 Gram
- Shitake mushroom (or any other kind of mushroom)
- 1 Cup
- Sesame oil
- 1 Cup
- Soy sauce
- 1 Teaspoon
- Salt/Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon
- Minced garlic
- 1 Cup
- Beef stock
- 1 Cup
- Oyster sauce
- 10 Gram
- Cornflour
This is a very delicious sauce that can be had with boiled basmati rice or pasta in the place of stew. It uses ingredients that are easy to acquire in the market. It is unique and very healthy as it uses a lot of vegetables and spices. It can also be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
- 1. Put a non-stick frying pan on low heat.
- 2. Pour half cup of sesame oil and heat
- 3. Add one spoon of minced garlic and chopped onions.
- 4. Add beef tenderloin coated in spices, seasoning and corn-flour.
- 5. Stir fry beef until surface is thoroughly cooked.
- 6. Add beef stock and cook thoroughly. Sauce should thicken due to the presence of corn flour.
- 7. Add shredded ginger, bell peppers, diced carrots, mushroom and chopped rodo.
- 8. Season lightly with soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt and sugar
- 9. Simmer for a minute and serve immediately with hot steaming basmati rice
