Fresh fish sauce is budget friendly and very quick to put together, its main protein being any fresh fish of choice, be it cat fish, croaker, tilapia etc.
- In your pot add some bleached palm oil, add some chopped onions, add some fish spice, seasoning cubes, and any other spice you're comfortable with.
- Add your blended pepper mix, stir gently and allow the mix to cook for 15-20 minutes or until you see the oil floating on the sauce.
- Then go in with your washed fish, gently mix that into sauce and allow to cook for 10-15 minutes to ensure your fish cooks properly.
- Add some chopped curry leaves or scent leaves, you can also use both. Stir in allow to cook for 5 minutes and your fish sauce is ready.
- You can have this with rice or any swallow of choice.
