Chicken Tandoori

An indian originated grilled chicken made from exotic flavors of spices called “Tandoori Masala”, meaning Tandoori spices. The masala is sold in shops but can be made at home.

  1. Mix lemon juice, food color, tandoori masala and oil.
  2. Apply to chicken pieces. Use fork to prick all over the meat. Keep aside for 30mins
  3. Apply yoghurt and let it sit for 3 hours or more.
  4. Arrange the marinated pieces in a baking tray.
  5. Place in a preheated oven and bake for about 25mins.
  6. Now take out and apply some more oil and ppace back in the oven and bake until lightly brown or barbecued.
  7. Chicken tandoori is ready, the indian way. Garnish with lemon slices. You can pair with rice or any dish of choice.
