This Chicken Shawarma recipe is going to knock your socks off! Just a handful of every day spices makes an incredible Chicken Shawarma marinade that infuses the chicken with exotic Middle Eastern flavours.
- In a bowl cut your cabbage, grate carrots and shred your chicken.
- For the sauce: Prepare the Shawarma sauce by mixing ketchup, mayonnaise and a hint of cayenne pepper/ red chilli flakes as needed (optional).
- Spread the sauce generously on the shawarma bread then place your mixture of cabbage and carrot. On it add your shredded chicken and grilled sausage then wrap.
- You can leave in the oven to keep warm or place the folded side on a bottom skillet or grill to brown. Remove from heat and ENJOY!!
