- 1 Tablespoon

This recipe is a very good way to get away from the regular fried yam or boiled yam options . This recipe is made with compound butter ,ill show you how to make a proper compound butter in my next recipe.
- Peel and wash your yam , cut them into cubes or rectangular or any shapes you like. Now you can choose to boil your yam if you like but in this recipe I went ahead to just cook in my air fryer. Prepare that and set aside.
- In another bowl go in with some melted butter.
- Add some salt, dry thyme, basil, parsley flakes and any other herbs you like.
- Mix everything to combine ,then introduce your boiled yam or not boiled yam into butter and mix to combine. The yams should be well coated with the compound butter.
- Transfer the yams into an air fryer of oven grill and grill for 15 minutes if the yams were not cooked and for 10 minutes for cooked yams.
- Your yam should look like this after it is ready. This is super delicious ,crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with a very silky buttery flavour.
- Serve with some pepper sauce or green sauce. I will be sharing a recipe on the green sauce in my next recipe. Enjoy!
