Akara (bean cake) and custard

Akara( bean cake)is a delicious breakfast meal that is common in Nigeria and this meal can also be enjoyable anytime of the day it’s an easy and affordable meal

  1. Add 2cups of beans in a bowl then add water and allow to soak for 1minute
  2. Wash and squeeze out the beans skin until clean
  3. Pour cleaned beans in a blender and add pepper ,onion,and crayfish
  4. Pour the blended mixture into a bowl and stir
  5. Add a pinch of salt cut in some pepper,onion (only if you desire)then stir very well
  6. Put a pan on a heat and pour in half liter of cooking oil allow to heat
  7. With a spoon scoop in your mixture into the pan one at a time and let it cook until light brown
  8. Then take out the cooked bean cake and serve
  9. In a pot add 2cups of water and bring to boil
  10. In another bowl scoop in 3spoons of custard powder add in little water and stir
  11. Add in the boiling water and stir until it’s thickened
  12. Add in any milk of choice add sugar if desired set hot wit the Akara(bean cake
