Yam Porridge

Yam porridge also known as yam Pottage is a very delicious yam recipe though it is eaten by most tribes Nigeria.
However, it is more common in the Yoruba speaking parts of Nigeria.It’s also easy to make.If you love yam it’s a must try recipe

  1. Wash your pepper and Onion and cut into large pieces for easy grinding.
  2. Get your Chevon and wash it and then put it inside a clean pot and place on fire add water and allow it to boil for 5 minutes
  3. After that you add your grinder pepper and onion,add your Maggi, Onga, curry, thyme and grinder Garlic. Allow it to boil for 20 minutes.
  4. Cut your Yam into smaller pieces wash it and then put it inside that boiled meat and add 1 cooking spoon of groundnut oil and then allow it to boil for 20minutes.
  5. After that you’re done with your delicious yam porridge,place it on a plate and allow it to cool for some minutes and then ready to serve.
