Watermelon juice is beneficial to the body; it offers anti inflammatory properties, kind to hair and skin, helps digestion, good for heart health, may combat cancer ,eye health and also a very good option to stay hydrated. Make a watermelon juice today, let’s get started…
- Prep your watermelon, deseed and take out the fleshy red part into a bowl. Add the watermelon in to blender.
- To add more sweetness you can add some pineapple and oranges, or you can skip and just stick to the melons.
- Go in with 2 cups of fresh clean water
- Cover the blender and blend to perfection
- Sieve out the juice using a sieving cloth of a sieve with very small perforated holes.
- Allow the juice drain into the jug or boil, then use a spoon to squeeze out the remaining or you can use your hands, ensure they are clean before doing that.
- Take out all the chaff and repeat till you've extracted all the juice.
- Serve your juice with some ice or you can put it in a bottle and refrigerate till when you're ready to drink it.
- Garnish with some orange wedge and enjoy!
