- Oil bean (ukpaka)

Vegetable yam portage is a Nigerian dish with many health benefits. Vegetable as we know is highly rich in vitamins which helps in the circulation of blood and helps the immune system to fight against diseases. This dish can be served as a main dish.
- Cut your yam into smaller pieces and pour in the pot
- Add water to be in the same level with the yam and bring to boil
- Add your salt, seasoning cube, crayfish, pepper, palm oil, onion and dry fish (optional)
- Allow to boil until the stock has thickened and is about to dry up
- Add your oil bean (ukpaka) and garden egg leaf and stir in
- Allow to simmer and remove from heat
- Dish out and serve
