- Zobo leaves
- 2 Cup
- Water
- 2 Tablespoon
- Date powder
- 1 Tuber
- Ginger
- 1 Teaspoon
- Cloves
Zobo is a popular drink in Nigeria. It also known as sorrel drink, hibiscus drink and sobolo (Ghana). This drink is refreshing and easy to make
- Wash the zobo leaves thoroughly until there's no dirt in it
- Roughly Grate the ginger and cloves together
- Put the washed zobo leaves in a pot, along with the grated ginger and cloves
- Add in the water and allow to simmer for 30 minutes
- Afterwards, allow it to chill a little. Then drain with a sieve
- Add in the date powder or any sweetener of choice and stir everything together
- Pour it an air tight container and chill
- Zobo drink is best served cold!!
