- Tomato , pepper paste
- 1 Cup
- Chopped spinach
- 1 Tablespoon
- Diced onion
- 5 Tablespoon
- Cooking oil
- 300 Gram
- Yam
- 1 Tablespoon
- Mix seasoning : curry thyme knor cube
- 1 Teaspoon
- Salt
A very easy ,quick vegetable sauce recipe to make just 5_6 ingredients from your refrigerator, pantry and you’re having a balanced meal.
- Clean and dress hand full spinach leaves
- Place cooking pot or pan on medium heat pour in cooking oil, chopped onion, saute onion.
- Add little tomato paste
- Add seasoning( curry, knor cubes,salt,thyme leaves).
- Pour in just a handfull chopped spinach leaves
- Saute till cooked
- Chop 300g Nigerian yam into small bits
- Peel yams
- Clean an wash under running water
- Bring to boil in salted water using cooking pot or pan, for 15 mins
- After fifteen minutes when cooked strain yam from water and serve with sauce.
