Semo is made from wheat. It is nutritious and aids digestion. It is served with Any type of soup such as Okro, ewedu, ogbono.
- Pour 4 1/2 cup of water in a clean pot, place on fire and allow to boil
- In a clean bowl, pour 1cup of water and add 1 1/2 cup of Semo to it. Stir with a wooden turning stick until a smooth paste is gotten
- When the water in the pot is boiling(bubbles), pour the Semo paste into the boiling water and stir with wooden turning stick vigorously to prevent lumps
- Allow to cook for 1-2minutes. Then add powder Semo to the Semo paste on the fire until preferred texture is gotten and stir vigorously
- Sprinkle little water on the Semo and allow to cook for a minute and stir again until a smooth texture is gotten
- Serve Semo with any choice of soup
