Semo

Semo is made from wheat. It is nutritious and aids digestion. It is served with Any type of soup such as Okro, ewedu, ogbono.

  1. Pour 4 1/2 cup of water in a clean pot, place on fire and allow to boil

  2. In a clean bowl, pour 1cup of water and add 1 1/2 cup of Semo to it. Stir with a wooden turning stick until a smooth paste is gotten

  3. When the water in the pot is boiling(bubbles), pour the Semo paste into the boiling water and stir with wooden turning stick vigorously to prevent lumps

  4. Allow to cook for 1-2minutes. Then add powder Semo to the Semo paste on the fire until preferred texture is gotten and stir vigorously

  5. Sprinkle little water on the Semo and allow to cook for a minute and stir again until a smooth texture is gotten

  6. Serve Semo with any choice of soup
