Rich fruit cake

It is sweet, rich and easy to make.

  1. Measure and sieve the flour. Add baking powder, nut meg, cinnamon, maraschino cherry, red cherry and mixed fruit. Then mix together

  2. In a mixer or a bowl measure your butter and sugar. Then mix together until it changes color

  3. In a cup, mix water and milk together and stir

  4. Note cut the maraschino cherry, red cherry and mixed fruit into small sizes before putting in the flour

  8. Alternate egg white, flour and milk then mix gently. Add black treacle, sugar syrup and browning. Mix together gently. Avoid over mixing to prevent the cake from fallen

  11. Smoothing the top with spoon or palate knife.preheat the oven for 10minutes then put the cake batter into the oven and allow it to bake for 50minutes. Note avoid slamming the oven door to prevent cake from fallen. To check if the cake is ready put a skewer In the middle if I comes out clean, the cake is ready to be served
