Peppered snail

Snail is a shelled Gastropoda. It’s lengthy, moist , unsegmented, squishy and slimy body.

Snail is a good source of Iron, Calcium, Vitamin A , and numerous of other minerals.

  1. Remove the snail from the shells and soak in a bowl filled with water and salt and leave for a few minutes, drain the water and use salt again to clean the snails by rubbing t her salt on the snail and clean inside and outside and Frye snail and make sure there’s no slime on it again . Place the snail in a bowl of water and leave it for about 10 minutes.
  2. While the snail is in the bowl clean the pepper and roughly blend with onion
  3. Cook snails with some roughly blended pepper , seasoning cubes, salt, garlic and ginger and onion for about 20 minutes
  4. Heat palm oil in a pot. Pour in sliced onion, pepper mix and salt and stir, Allow it to cook for about 10 minutes. Add in snail , seasoning cubes and scent leaf and stir fry for about 5 minutes on low heat .
