Ogbono soup

Ogbono soup is a Nigeria dish made with ground dry ogbono seeds. It originates from southern eastern part of Nigeria ( Igbos )

  1. Firstly prepare your ingredients: cut your leaf ( uziza leaf) , blend your crayfish, your species too, wash your meat and cook
  2. After washing the meat, spice and cook the meat with ur stock fish till it’s soft
  3. Once the meat is soft, pour out on a bowl and place the pot on fire but this time cook on a low heat
  4. Pour some red oil in the pot and leave for 20 secs , then add your blended pepper and stir
  5. Then add your ground ogbono seed , stir together…. Note cook on a low heat
  6. Stir for 20 secs on low heat , then pour your meats, add your spices ,salt to taste and meat stocks , stir and allow to cook for few secs
  7. Lastly add your leaf ( uziza) or vegetable leaf…. Your ogbono soup is ready
