This is a delicious delicacy made from beans that is washed and blended into a smooth past, seasoned and cooked to coagulate.
it can be served with Rice ( with jollof, white or fried) pap or custard or even agidi also known as eko by the Yoruba people of Nigeria.
- Start by pulsing 1 derica cup of beans in your food processor or blender for 5 minutes till the shaft is off
- Turn this into a bowl and wash well to remove all shaft and the beans is clean and this takes about 10 minutes
- Now add your unshelled bell peppers, habanero peppers, scotch bonnet and onions then transfer into your blender and add a can of coconut milk or 3 cups of water and blend to a very smooth consistency and this should take 5 minutes
- Turn the mixture into a bowl and whisk till fluffy then go in with seasoning cubes, groundnut oil, curry powder, salt, deboned fish or canned beef and give a good mix and this takes about 10 minutes
- Scoop mixture into your leaves, ramekins or Nylon and place into a pot of water and this process takes about 20 minutes
- Allow to cook for 45 minutes on medium heat and it is ready
