Meat kebab

Meat kebab is also known as meat in sticks. It is mostly used in Nigerian events as appetizer and highly proteinous. It is made by marinating, cooking ang frying any choice of meat in small cubes and arranged in stick with vegetables like diced carrot, green pepper, red bell pepper, etc.

  1. Wash the beef 3times with salt or vinegar.
  2. Pour in a dry pot and add seasoning cube, salt, curry and thyme, mix spices, Benny, ginger and garlic, black pepper.
  3. Stir very well and allow to marinate for few minutes to absorb all the ingredients
  4. Bring to boil and allow to steam until the natural water is about to dry up
  5. Add water thesame level with the meat to cook to tender.
  6. Pour the meat into a stainless sieve and sprinkle some Benny on it and toss
  7. Add enough oil into your deep fat frying pan and fry.
  8. Dice your carrot, green pepper and red bell pepper into cubes and pour in a frying pan
  9. Add a little oil, spice it up and fry for a minute and sieve out.
  10. With your stick, add your fried beef, add red pepper, carrot, green pepper. Continue in thesame manner until you have exhausted your meat.
  11. Serve as an appetizer with juice, as a side dish with rice or any main dish
