Gizzdodo is a simple dish that delivers great flavor with minimal effort.

  1. Dice bell peppers
  2. In a pot, pour in your gizzard
  3. Add onion and seasoning, marinate
  4. Add water and allow to cook
  5. Dice your cooked gizzard in big cubes
  6. Fry it and set aside
  7. Dice plantain in cubes, fry and set aside
  8. Rough blend your Tatashe and scotch bonnet pepper separately and set aside
  9. Chop your onions, garlic ginger and set aside
  10. In a pot add oil, garlic , ginger , onion and fry
  11. Add in your Tatashe and fry for 3 minutes before adding your scotch bonnet
  12. Fry for about 5-7mins then you add your seasoning
  13. Add in your gizzard and give it a good mix
  14. Add your plantain and stir for about 5 minutes
  15. Add your bell peppers and stir for 3 minutes
  16. And your gizzdodo is ready.
