Fried plantain

Fried plantain popularly known as dodo, is a common side dish in Nigeria. It has a sweet, caramelly taste.

  1. Peel and Slice the plantain into desired shape
  2. Add in a pinch of salt and combine
  3. Put a pan on fire and add in the vegetable oil
  4. Allow the oil to warm up a little before adding the plantain
  5. Fry on both sides till you get a rich golden color
  6. Your plantain is ready! Best served with egg sauce or fried stew
