- Ewedu leaves
- 2 Small
- Seasoning cubes
- 1 Teaspoon
- Salt
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon
- Crayfish
This is a popular soup in the western part of Nigeria. It’s made from jute leaves and it isĀ commonly enjoy with amala.
- Pluck the ewedu leaves
- Then wash the leaves very well with water
- Put in a pot and add in some boiling water
- Allow it to boil for 5 minutes
- Now, add in the crayfish, locust beans, salt and seasoning cubes and mix
- Mix and Allow to cook for another 5 minutes
- Then use a cooking broom to smoothen or mash the soup
- Your delicious, silky ewedu soup is ready
