1. Wash your meat and steam it. Here I used cow meat. Add onions, salt, dry pepper and seasoning cubes to steam the meat.
2. In a bowl pour your grinded egusi and mix with warm water to form a paste.
3. Once your meat is done, remove it from the pot and keep it aside. Put your pot back on fire and allow the pot to dry to remove water. Pour your palm oil and onions into the pot and fry the onions for 5 minutes.
4. Add your egusi paste into the pot
5. Add little salt into the pot
6. Turn the egusi paste to make sure it mixes properly with the palm oil
7. Allow it fry until the egusi looks a bit dry.
8. Add your meat stock into the pot
9. Add water according to the quantity you want to cook into the pot. Also add according to the quantity of egusi you used so that the water won't be too much.
10. Add your seasoning cubes(2)
11. Add your grinded crayfish and pepper
12. Add salt to taste. Taste your soup to make sure that you don't add salt in excess
13. Stir your soul properly and cover to cook for at least 20 minutes.
14. Once your soul has boiled, add your cut vegetable, stir and remove from fire.
15. Your soul is ready. Dish and enjoy
