Diet puff

Diet puff is a snack made of flour, sugar, yeast, salt, pepper, egg or milk as optional ingredients. It is also consumed as small chops in different occasions.

  1. Measure all the dry ingredients which includes flour, sugar, yeast, salt in a clean dry bowl and mix together
  2. Add the wet ingredients egg, milk if using and add water little by little as you mix to avoid lumps
  3. Once the consistency is smooth and the mixture is in a paste form you add the fresh pepper and mix together
  4. Cover the bowl airtight and allow the mixture to double in size for about 15mins
  5. Scoop little by little with the tips of your hand and fry in deep fat frying method
  6. Remove from oil and put in a sieve
  7. Serve hot or with any drink of choice
