1. Parboil and wash your rice
2. Grind your pepper, garlic and ginger together to make your pepper mix.
3. Put your pot on fire and pour some groundnut oil in it and allow it to heat up a bit.
4. Add your chopped onions and dry thyme into the hot oil and fry until your onions is light purple. The thyme was added at this stage to bring out the aroma and give the rice a nice scent.
5. When your onions is properly fried, proceed to add your pepper mix in the pot and fry it for 2 minutes.
6. After 2 minutes, add your curry spice into the pot and fry it for another 2 minutes.
7. After 2 minutes, add little cup of water into your pot.
8. Add your seasoning cubes to the pot and some salt to taste. Here, I used 2 cubes of Maggi.
9. Make sure to test for salt and add more is necessary.
10. Add your parboiled rice into your pot.
11. Stir your rice together with the ingredients in the pot and make sure the ingredients mix well with the rice.
12. Add your washed dry fish into the pot and little water again that will be able to cook the rice till it is done.
13. Close your pot tightly and allow to cool till the water in the pot is dry.
14. Once your rice is done, stir it properly to make sure the ingredients mix well.
15. Proceed to add your chopped vegetables into the pot, stir and remove from the fire.
16. Your food is ready to be served and enjoyed.
