There are rather traditional way of doing things (and more specifically, food).
I’ve only ever had cabbage in salads/coleslaw. But this recipe is one way to mix/spice things up.
I’m all for eating healthy and I don’t believe we have to break the bank for that…yeah, it is very cheap to get this meal done.
It is nutrient dense, and there’s no such thing as having too much of it.
It also makes use of very few ingredients that can easily be found in every kitchen.
I’d like to connect with you, so please let me know what you think.
- Wash and chop the cabbage
- Peel, wash and grate the carrots
- Wash and slice the tomatoes, pepper and onions
- Set your stove on low heat and set your clean pan on it
- When the pan has heated up slightly, go in with some butter and veg oil
- Add the onions and saute for 30 seconds
- Add the tomatoes and pepper and allow to cook for 2 minutes
- After 2 minutes, season lightly and cook for another minute on medium heat. You can also add any protein of choice at this point
- Pour in the cabbage, cover the pan and cook for 2 minutes in medium/high heat
- Stir, add the carrots and cook for 1-2 minutes
- Take off the heat and your cabbage Sauce is ready
