Breadfruit chips are a tasty and nutritious snack made from the fruit of the breadfruit tree. - Peel the breadfruits, cut them into thin slices and wash them thoroughly
- Add some salt to a bowl of water and soak the breadfruit in it for 10 minutes.
- Heat up the vegetable oil in a pan and add 2 pinches of salt to it
- Drain the breadfruit slices out of the salted water
- Fry the breadfruit slices batch by batch until golden brown
- Take the fried breadfruit off the heat onto some parchment paper, paper towels or colander to drain the excess oil from it
- Serve hot with any sauce of your choice or by itself as a delicious and healthy snack
