Bandashen Gurasa

A northern Nigerian cuisine made using gurasa bread and groundnut powder known as kulikuli.

  1. Boil water. Dip the gurasa bread in boiled water, take out and keep aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix kulikuli, pepper, seasoning cubes, ginger powder, and set aside
  3. Apply oil on the soaked gurasa the coat with the kulikuli mixture.
  4. Repeat for the remaining gurasa untill it's all fully coated.
  5. Put the coated gurasa in a steaming pot and steam for 10 to 15mins.
  6. Serve and garnish with the chopped tomatoes, onions and cucumbers.
  7. Pair with tea, coffee or any drink of choice.
