- Elubo (yam flour)
- 4 Cup
- Water
- Put water on fire and allow it to boil
- While the water is boiling, sieve your elubo (yam flour)
- Take a cup of water out of the boiling water then add in the sieved elubo bit by bit
- Continue to stirring while adding the elubo to prevent lumps
- After the elubo has come together, add part of the warm water set aside to the elubo
- Cover the pot and allow to cook for 4 minutes
- Remove the cover, turn the Amala very well and off the flame
- Your Amala is ready
