Akara (bean cake) is made from beans and it can be enjoyed with pap, bread, soaked Gaari, custard, oat and even milk.
It is best eaten in the morning but can also be eaten as dinner.
- 2 cups washed and peeled beans
- Add peppers and onions
- Blend to smooth puree
- Add salt and dice onion to the bean paste to taste
- Mix together
- Fry on medium high flame until brown
