African yam fritters (ojojo)

Ojojo is a Simple water yam Nigerian snack / delicacy ,used as a side dish to any meat dish in nigeria. It’s usually used to mark Nigerian and African festivities and ceremonies

  1. Slice your water yam or yams to get the portion you need

  2. Peel, slice into small pieces and wash

  3. Use a kitchen grater , further grate the yams

  4. Further blend the grated yam in an electric blender

  5. Pour into a plate , add seasoning , salt, knor cubes red ground pepper and onion

  6. Stir and begin scooping to fry

  7. Set a wok or pot containing cooking oil on medium heat

  8. Scoop into pan when oil is hot and ready,fry till cooked flipping ojojo to opposite sides
