Achicha

A local delicacy in Nigeria that is very tasty.

  1. Pick your pigeon pea pour in a pot with water and bring to a boil then put it back on fire with adequate water that can cook till tender
  2. Wash your ground achicha and put in white Santana nylons and put in the boiling pot of already parboiled pigeon pea
  3. While this is cooking prep your plenty onions and pepper
  4. Once the pigeon pea and achicha are down bring down
  5. In a clean pot add your red oil till it heats then your onions pepper maggi and salt
  6. Begin to add in pigeon pea and achicha in portions stir till the ingredients have been turned properly
  7. Do this on very low heat cover for some seconds
  8. Serve and enjoy
